Jennifer L. Wells, DMD

Dr. Jennifer Wells is originally from Phoenix, AZ where she graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and minor in Chemistry. She always knew she wanted to be a dentist! She was born without one of her teeth and went through many years of general dentistry, orthodontics and eventually oral surgery. She knew at a young age that she wanted to help people feel confident in their smiles! After her undergraduate degree, she graduated from Midwestern University Dental School where she graduated top of her class. Dr. Wells’s favorite procedures include extractions, dentures and bridges. She has specialized training in Invisalign and loves overall smile makeovers! Dr. Wells is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and volunteers her services to the local rehab shelter for those in recovery. Dr. Wells is very passionate about her role as a dentist, “Every patient is different, with their own unique needs. My goal is to design an individual treatment plan to help each and every one of my patients achieve a healthy and happy smile.” In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and experiencing the local cuisine with her husband and daughter.

John davis, DDS

Dr. Davis grew up in Roanoke and graduated from Cave Spring High School. He attended Roanoke College where he was a Junior Scholar and graduated with honors with a B.S. degree in Biology. Dr. Davis' dental education was completed at Virginia Commonwealth University with a DDS degree. He then was accepted into and completed the Pediatric Dental residency at the Virginia Commonwealth University where he was selected as the chief resident and assistant clinical professor of Pediatric Dentistry.

In 1988, Dr. Davis came home to set up practice in Roanoke and is the past president of the Roanoke Valley Dental Society. He practiced in Roanoke for 29 years.

Dr. Davis's advocation is inventing. He is the inventor of the Dr. Brown's PreVent® Pacifier and and has collaborated in developing other baby products for the Dr. Brown’s Baby Bottle Company over the past 19 years. Dr. Davis is also the inventor of the Rhinoguard, the first and only introducer/dilator designed and developed to help reduce the problems associated with nasal intubation.

Dr. Davis enjoys teaching innovation and is a visiting lecturer at the Virginia Tech Department of Biomedical Engineering. He has over 30 years of clinical experience with over 3,000 general anesthesia cases performed. He is married with two girls and enjoys playing tennis.
